Kian Erfaan

Kian Erfaan Jamasbi, born in 1999, is an American law student, author, and entrepreneur. He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at Fordham University School of Law, concentrating on International, Comparative, and Foreign Law. He co-founded and serves as Managing Member of WorldLaw LLC.

Kian earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Social Research. He also worked as a Legal Assistant at Conklin Benham, PC. Before his undergraduate studies, Kian graduated cum laude from Germantown Academy, receiving awards for poetry and mathematics and representing the school at the Pennsylvania Scholastic Chess Championships.

Between September 2022 and October 2023, Kian E. Jamasbi served as Vice President of Finance at Gold Medal Karate Inc. dba Zhang-Sah Martial Arts.

At Fordham Law, Kian has balanced academics with professional commitments, including roles as a paralegal at Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP and as a Westlaw Account Representative for Thomson Reuters.

In 2024, Kian Erfaan co-founded WorldLaw LLC, where he is Managing Member. Earlier that year, he served as Research Associate at the United Nations Office of the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms. In 2024, he interned with the Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy at the United Nations, contributing to research on nuclear non-proliferation.

Kian is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, contributing to committees on Charitable Organizations, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Technology. He is also affiliated with the Iranian American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

His publications include "Reinforcing Global Nuclear Non-Proliferation: The Case for the Fissile Material Cut-Off Treaty" (2023), published by the Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy, and "Face-to-Face: Confronting Machine-Generated Evidence" (2024).
